Weight Loss
Increased weight gain is usually caused by eating fatty and sugary foods and no exercise.  If losing weight is the aim and more importantly, keeping it off, you need to re-evaluate your diet and lifestyle.

  • Avoid saturated fats, sugary foods, rich sauces and fatty fast foods.

  • Try replacing cups of coffee with raw fruit and vegetable juices.

  • Eat three good meals a day, starting with a good breakfast, a substantial lunch and don't over eat at dinner.

  • Careful snacking in between meals can increase the number of nutrients in your diet especially if the healthy alternatives are chosen.

  • Find an exercise routine that you enjoy

  • Keep all weight loss goals realistic and take one day at a time.

  • The main energy sources should be from eating fruits, vegetables, cereals, rice, breads and pasta.

  • Regular exercise can uplift your mood.  Aerobic exercise is considered best for endorphin release because it is an endurance activity.  A brisk 40 minute walk can have a great effect on mood levels. Most regular exercisers report more energy and a clearer mind and better self esteem.  Symptoms like depression and anxiety can sometimes disappear within 20 minutes of starting.

  • There is now a new product called Moodlift which contains the naturally occurring substance SAM-e (S-adnosylmethionine), a potent mood regulator to help you get the most out of life. More ...

Hair Loss
Millions of men and women throughout the world experience some sort of hair loss. It is normal to lose 50 to 100 hairs a day but there are many reasons why people can start to lose more hair than usual.
Stress and medical conditions can all play a part but the most common reason can be hereditary hair loss.

Hereditary hair loss also known as baldness or male pattern baldness in men, due to the distinctive M shaped formed.  Women can also experience hereditary hair loss as thinning of the hair over the entire crown of the head, known as female pattern baldness.  Hair grows in cycles, growing anywhere from 1 cm to 2 cm per month.  For some of us, hereditary factors cause some hair follicles to shrink, shortening the hairs growth cycle.  As the hair is lost, some men will notice that their hair line is receding, whilst women will notice an overall thinning of their hair.  There are many hair loss treatments to choose from and Regaine could be the answer for you.
