Description...

As well as being a very tasty addition to your cooking, ginger has been used for years as a medicinal remedy for many complaints. It is a digestion treatment, appetite stimulant, improves circulation and regulates hormones among many other important functions. Its active ingredients are Gingerols, which soothe the abdomen and relieve excess gas.

It is described in traditional Chinese medicine as acrid and warm.
