"Chemists' Own Gingko 2000 is formulated to assist in the improvement of memory, cognitive function, concentration and enhance mental alertness. It can also assist in the relief of the symptoms of vertigo and tinnitus and the maintenance of healthy circulation. Gingko increases brain alpha wave activity.
Alpha waves activity is common in normal alert people, whilst theta wave activity is abnormally high in those with dementias. It also improves cerebral circulation, increasing oxygen and nutrient supply to the brain and protects against oxidative damage of nerve cells.
Gingko strengthens blood vessels and reduces the stickiness of blood platelets, which helps blood to circulate more easily. The flavonoid compounds in Gingko are responsible for improving memory and enhancing cognitive function. " |
