Agiolax is a clinically proven natural product containing a plant laxative and dietary fibre. It aids and assists in the treatment of constipation. Agiolax is a special combination of senna pods and mostly insoluble fibre.It is suitable for bowel regulation in bed-ridden patients. Of indirect benefit to people suffering from haemorrhoids. |

Dosage |

Adults and children over 10 years: take 1 rounded teaspoonful in the evening, and if necessary before breakfast (for children under 10, the dose should be on medical advice). Agiolax generally produces bowel movements in 12-24 hours. Agiolax granules should be swallowed unchewed with a glass of water (approx. 250ml). Drink plenty of water. Increase fibre in diet. |

5g ( approx. 1 rounded teaspoonful) contains Plantago ovata 2.6g, Ispaghula husk dry 0.11g and Senna fruit Tinnevelly Dry equivalent to 15mg sennosides. (Diabetic information: 5g of Agiolax contains approximately 0.9g sucrose.) Agiolax is gluten free. |

Like all laxatives, Agiolax should not be used in cases of intestinal obstruction. Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea or vomitting are present, or if you develop diarrhoea. Pregnant or breast-feeding women should seek medical advice before taking Agiolax. Prolonged use of laxatives may cause serious bowel problems. If symptoms persist seek medical advice. Store below 30 degree celcius . |
