| Usage |
|
Oral correction of fluid and electrolyte loss in infants, children and adults. Gastrolyte has been formulated to treat fluid and electrolyte loss associated with acute dehydration in infantile diarrhoea but is also appropriate for older children and adults. |

| Dosage |
|
One sachet or two tablets should be mixed in 200ml of fresh drinking water. In the case of infants the water should be boiled and cooled. For toddlers and older children, Gastrolyte may be given freely until their thirst is satisfied. Adults should drink 200ml after each loose bowel action. |
