| Dosage |
|
Shake well before use.
Adults and children over 12 years: 5-10mL (one to two 5mL spoonfuls) after meals and half an hour before bedtime, or as directed. Do not lie down immediately after taking Gaviscon.
Children under 12 years: Seek doctor's advice.
For temporary relief only. If symptoms persist consult your doctor. Each 10mL dose contains 4.6mmol of sodium which should be takin into account if on a salt restricted diet. If you forget a dose it is not necessary to double the dose next time, just carry on taking as before. |

Each 10mL oral liquid dose contains:
Sodium Alginate BP 1000mg
Potassium Bicarbonate Ph. Eur 200mg
Calcium Carbonate Ph. Eur 200mg
Each dose contains methyl hydroxybenzoate, propyl hydroxybenzoate and saccharin. It does not contain sugar, gluten or artificial colours. |
