Robitussin EX contains the expectorant Guaiphenesin, which increases the flow of natural secretions along the lower respiratory tract. This liquefying effect helps break up a cough - helps loosen congestion so you can cough it up and get if off your chest. |

Dosage: Every 4 hours orally when necessary.
Adults and children over 12 years: 10mL to 20mL
Children 6-12 years: 5mL to 10mL
Children 2-6 years: 2.5mL to 5mL |

| Ingredients |
|
Each 10mL of syrup contains: guaiphenesin.
Also contains: ethanol, sodium benzoate and sodium saccharin.
This product contains sorbitol which may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea in some people. This is more likely if several products containing sorbitol or related substances are consumed simultaneously. Sugar free. |

This medication should not be used in children less than 2 years of age without medical advice. If cough persists for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, rash or persistent headache, consult a doctor. If you have a persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or cough accompanied by excessive phlegm, consult a doctor before taking this product. If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients seek the advice of a doctor or pharmacist before using this product. |
