"Combining breast and bottle feeding is easier with AVENT. AVENT teats are made from soft silicone and shaped to mimic the breast. AVENT teats never collapse and have been clinically proven to reduce colic in newborn babies.
Choosing the right teat for your baby:
The guide below will help you select the right flow rate for your baby. However, please remember that age indications are approximate as babies develop at different rates. You will know when your baby is ready to move onto a faster flow rate because he or she will try to suck harder to get the milk more quickly and may show tiredness or frustration during feeding.

Newborn ? one hole
Suitable for newborn and breast fed babies.

For a slightly faster flow.
Suitable for 1 month+ and breast fed babies.

Recommended for babies 3 months and older.

Before first and after every use, wash and rinse thoroughly. Dishwasher safe - food colourings may discolour product. Sterilise using AVENT steam sterilisers or boil for 5 minutes. Before each use, inspect and throw away at first signs of damage or weakness.For hygien reasons, we recommend replacement after 3 months. Keep in a dry covered container. Do not leave in sunlight or heat when not in use or for longer than recommended in sterilising solution as this may weaken the product. Never use teats/nipples as a soother/pacifier. Always check food temperature before feeding and use under adult supervision. |
