Blackmores Bio ACE Excell is a complete antioxidant formula containing herbs, vitamins and minerals as some antioxidants combat free radicals best when used in combination:
- Milk thistle: an antioxidant herb with a hepatoprotective action which helps prevent penetration of toxins into the liver cells.
- Grape seed extract: a free radical scavenger.
- Selenium: helps protect the body against oxidative injury.
- Folate and vitamins B6 and B12: increased intake of these nutrients have been found to reduce high blood levels of homocysteine which is associated with an increased risk for a variety of disease.
