Echinacea has been extensively investigated and is known to have a variety of actions on the immune system, including elevation of serum white blood cell count (when numbers are low), promotion of non-specific T-cell activation (leading to a range of other activities including increased activity of natural killer cells and stimulating the release of interferon), enhancement of macrophage activity, as well as having antibacterial and antiviral properties. It is indicated for the relief of symptoms of infections, particularly those of the upper respiratory tract such as cold, flu and sinusitis.
Garlic exhibits broad-spectrum antimicrobial and antibacterial activity and is particularly active against the influenza virus. It is also indicated for the temporary relief of symptoms of other infections especially those in the respiratory tract, including bronchitis, sinusitis and colds. Allicin (an unstable compound formed by the enzymatic action of allinase on alliin), is required to be present for the antimicrobial activity of garlic to take place.

Adults - Take one tablet three times daily with meals, or as professionally prescribed
