Tamsil Cream is usually applied once or twice daily. It is important to clean and thoroughly dry the affected areas of your skin before applying Tamsil Cream. Apply the cream to the to the affected skin and to the area surrounding the affected skin. Use only a thin layer of the cream and rub it in lightly. If you need to apply the cream between your toes, fingers or buttocks, under a breast or armpit, or in the groin region, the area may be covered with a gauze after applying the cream. This is particularly useful at bedtime. How long you need to apply Tamsil Cream for depends on the type of infection you have: For all tinea infections except on the soles of the feet, Tamsil Cream should be used for 1 week. For infections between the toes, twice daily application is recommended. For a tinea infection on the sole of the foot, Tamsil Cream should be used for 2 -4 weeks. For a yeast infection Tamsil Cream should be used for 1 to 2 weeks. While the signs of the infection may disappear after only using this product for a few days, it is important to continue using the cream for the recommended period. The reason is that, if you use Tamsil Cream for only a few days, you may not remove all of the fungi from the affected areas. As a result, the infection may return soon after you stop using the cream. See your doctor, if after using Tamsil Cream for 1 to 2 weeks, there is no improvement in your condition. |
