Usage |
 |
Allergic conjunctivitis is usually associated with red, itchy, watery and swollen eyes. Many people experience allergic conjunctivitis during certain seasons (particularly Spring and Autumn) when there are pollens and other irritants in the air that can cause an allergic reaction in the eye. The antihistamine ingredient will help to relieve hayfever symptoms while the decongestant will relieve red eyes. |

Warning |

Let your pharmacist or doctor know if any of the following apply to you (or the person using Naphcon-A Eye drops) before you start using this product.- You have a known allergy to naphazoline hydrochloride, pheniramine maleat, or to any of the other ingredients in Naphcon-A Eye drops;
- You are currently taking any "monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors";
- You are pregnant, or are intending to become pregnant;
- You are breastfeeding;
- You have, or have had, any medical conditions, especially the following:
heart problems, including high blood pressure or an irregular heartbeat; intermittent blurred vision accompanied by pain in the eye (this may mean you have narrow-angle glaucoma); diabetes mellitus (sugar diabetes); urinary retention due to enlarged prostate gland. - You are taking any other medicines, including medicines that you buy at a pharmacy or health food shop without a doctor's prescription.
Not recommended for Children under 12 years. |
